Project Description

The Site:

The wind farm site is located in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire. It is situated between the Lincolnshire Wolds to the west and the Lincolnshire coast to the east.

The hamlet of Asserby is located north of the site and the hamlet of Thurlby is situated to the south.

The two closest villages are Bilsby (south-west) and Huttoft (east).

Alford (which lies approximately 3km to the south-west) and the coastal towns of Mablethorpe (approximately 7.5km to the north-east) and Chapel Saint Leonards (approximately 7km south-east) are the three closest towns to the Site.


The Proposed Development:

The Proposed Development will consist of up to 4 wind turbines, with a fixed height to blade tip of up to 115m. It will include the erection, 25 year operation and subsequent decommissioning of the turbines.

Other infrastructure elements of the Proposed Development include new tracks, hardstanding for crane pads, a substation and a temporary construction compound
